All access will be restricted on the new 2-lane facility between State Route 99 and Dakota Avenue. Access on Dakota Ave will be similar to that which exists today. This project also includes improvements to 5th Street and 6th Street with improved connections to SR-99, including adding a new connection to Needham Street. Some sections of SR 132 will be constructed below grade (depressed roadway sections), as shown in blue on the project exhibit. Roadway drainage will include a pump station, roadside bioswales, infiltration basins, and retention/detention basins to accommodate storm runoff from the new facility.
